Two waterfalls and a trout stream. Beautiful area. Bathroom was open even though the campground office was closed on a Saturday afternoon. Also, you can drive right up to Mash Fork Falls so persons with limit w d mobility can still see it
Excellent overnight stop just off I-77
Did the backpack in camp site at Almost Heaven. The trail was clearly marked and well maintained. The site had firewood ready for you already and a nice outhouse to use. The outhouse was stocked with toiletries and soaps and to my surprise the outhouse was super clean. The picnic shelter was nice as well. The trail was decently difficult and isn't for everyone. But i would suggest this to any person who enjoys the outdoors.
Along with the beautiful drive, this state park is the ultimate outdoor getaway for families or loaners! Many sights to see and trails to hike, play grounds and camp grounds that are always an adventure! If you're from here or just visiting, Camp Creek is a great place to go!
